About Opus 3

The trio was formed in September 2025 by Anna Komusiński, Lara Haluska and Richard Rait, united by strong musical chemistry and a shared artistic vision.

Since its formation, Opus 3 has already performed at Musica Mundi (Waterloo, Belgium), the Great Synagogue of Brussels and in Poland, establishing itself as a chamber ensemble of refinement and expressive depth.

Their Lisbon performance marks an important step in their international artistic journey.

The Artists

Anna Komusiński – cello

Polish-Mexican cellist, internationally awarded and recognised as one of the most promising young artists of her generation.

She has performed in major European venues including Musikverein (Vienna), Kammermusiksaal of the Berliner Philharmonie and Royal Albert Hall (London).

Currently developing her artistry at Musica Mundi (Belgium), she continues her work with Maestro Ivan Monighetti and performs on an 18th-century cello.

Lara Haluska – violin

Hungarian violinist, student of Musica Mundi School in Belgium.

Laureate of numerous international competitions in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the UK and the USA.

Her artistic profile combines virtuosity, compositional experience and a natural stage presence. Lara has performed internationally, including appearances in New York and at major cultural events in Hungary.

Richard Rait – piano

Russian-Portuguese pianist with an international artistic background.

Prize-winner of competitions in Belgium, Germany, Portugal and Spain, and soloist with Orquestra do Algarve performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2.

Richard has participated in masterclasses with leading pianists, including Rem Urasin who has previously performed at All Portugal Space and speaks highly of Richard’s musical depth and potential.
